The Sailing Ship Rogue: Privateer for the Cardano Blockchain.

Rogue will strive to improve liquidity positions across the Cardano ecosystem through burning LP tokens associated with partner projects. This will be accomplished by using a mutually beneficial minting mechanism “bond mint”. A Rogue bond is a bond of friendship and cooperation. It is an effort to unite the Cardano ecosystem.

Governments of the past relied on the general public to fund projects through bond purchases. Build a dam, buy dam bonds. Build a road, buy road bonds. Go to war, buy war bonds, etc. Government bonds accrue value over time, allowing the purchaser to redeem them at a later date for greater value.

This idea lead to the development of the Rogue “bond mint”. Unlike a traditional bond, these NFTs will return value to holders through staking rewards. Staking a Rogue NFT will earn $ROGUE and in some cases partnership tokens.

Rogue NFT's will remain among the rarest in Cardano with a slow mint process opened during limited times. This will allow us to mint and track fees accrued to accurately distribute into partner LPs.

Rogue will begin minting with the Fox series NFT collection and continue using them as bond mints until 1,111 Fox NFT's have been minted. This will ensure limited supply and higher rewards for early adopters of the Rogue NFT collections.

First Mint Phase: The first time slot opened for minting was 5 days, starting on Halloween 2024. All fees aquired during this time were returned to the ROGUE Treasury.

Second Mint Phase and beyond: Currently voting on our first 3 Bond Mint partners. The mint window will open for 3 days to accrue fees for bonds. After the alloted time the mint will close and distribute 70% of accrued fees to the partner token by zapping ADA and burning the resulting LP tokens.

Rogue will produce 8 separate character collections each at 1,111. Giving us a total of 8,888 main character NFTs. All of these NFT collections will be used to inject fees into LPs across Cardano.

The Rogue Governmnet

Rogue is a community controlled project, I will act as it's captain but we sail where the crew decides. The government consists of two circles.

Small Circle

The small circle consists of 10 members hand selected from the Cardano community. They have assisted in all aspects of development. A general consensus vote is taken for decisions when the group has decided it warrants discussion. They are consulted upon all aspects of development. The small circle has the ability to remove any community member through a majority vote. This is called the Mutiny Clause and applies to all community members, even the captain. The small circle allows for rapid decision making, maintaining project fluidity. Small Circle members are free to step down at any time and are not formally compensated unless agreed upon by the other members.

Large Circle

Consists of the early adopter OG crew. Attaining the token rank of Pirate Captain (hold 100 billion $ROGUE) is the only current way to get access. We will be lowering that requirement after testing through the mint process with our current members. We will also implement an NFT holder role that grants access to the government.

Large circle nominates and votes on projects to Bond Mint.(LP BURN)

Voting occurs around all important decisions that the small circle feels need the larger crew involved. Key mechanics can be completely changed through the Large Circle this keeps the project moving in a unified direction.
